Jamie Redknapp claims Antonio Conte could leave Tottenham if he isn't backed properly

Since arriving at Spurs in November, Conte has made a major impact in north London, leading his side to 21 points from a possible 30 in the Premier League. This has put his team in contention to finish inside the top four for the first time since the 2018/19 season. However, Tottenham are yet to sign anyone in this month's transfer window, and time is running out for Conte to strengthen his squad. After watching Spurs slip to a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday, their first league loss under Conte, Redknapp highlighted the need for chairman Daniel Levy to support Conte by bringing players into the club, or risk watching the Italian coach walk away.

Chelsea fans outraged as Matt Doherty escapes a red card for 'disgusting' challenge on

Chelsea fans have been outraged following Matt Doherty's 'disgusting' challenge on Malang Sarr, as the Blues hosted Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. The Irish full-back dragged his studs down the ankle of Chelsea's French centre-back in the first-half of the game, leaving Blues fans bemused as Doherty escaped a red card. It was in the 18th minute when Doherty set off in pursuit of Sarr, before controversially scraping the underside of his boot against the leg of the 23-year-old.

The Belgian striker is still lacking sharpness and confidence since being reinstated into the starting XI following his fall-out with the Blues boss after criticising his tactics in an Italian interview.

The 25-year-old, who has featured just 10 times for Spurs this season, does not seem to be part of Antonio Conte's plans going forward - despite being in contract until 2024.

Referee Kevin Friend left the field to howls of derision from Palace's fans after Jota was dubiously adjudged to have been fouled by Vicente Guaita in a collision late in the game when his own momentum seemed to have taken him into the keeper and then to ground.

Tyson Fury tells Francis Ngannou to 'come see the Gypsy King' for some 'real money' as UFC

Five years after Floyd Mayweather's 'Money Fight' against Conor McGregor, Tyson Fury has tempted Francis Ngannou with a monstrous heavyweight showdown.   Ngannou walked away from the UFC victorious after a points win over Ciryl Gane, bringing his deal with Dana White's promotion to an end with the American's heavyweight title around his waist.    Now it's time for the 35-year-old to seek a pay-day, telling Joe Rogan post-fight: 'As I always say, boxing is always in the back of my pocket. It's something that I must do before the end of my career.'

Nottingham Forest rising star Brennan Johnson is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs

Johnson has been linked with Everton, West Ham, Newcastle and Brentford in recent weeks, this clutch of Premier League clubs no doubt impressed by the youngster's raw pace, crossing ability and chance creation. Johnson is the son of former Forest striker David (left) and David Beckham is keeping a close eye on his progress.

Chris Eubank can push towards a world title with victory over Liam Williams but faces a

Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams will finally share the ring on February 5, with both fighters looking to push towards a world title shot. Eubank Jr has shown clear improvement since partnering with trainer Roy Jones Jr but faces undoubtedly his toughest test yet under the stewardship of the legendary 53-year-old against a determined Welshman hell-bent on carving his own route to the top. There have been verbal spars galore, both in person and online, during the build-up to the enticing event with seemingly genuine needle between the pair, needle that dates back circa 10 years, when the pair went toe-to-toe in an actual sparring session, ironically at Adam Booth's gym. Around a decade after the swift but stormy encounter, Booth now finds himself in the center of the domestic grudge match, recently taking on the role of Williams' trainer, while at the same time coaching Eubank Jr's cousin Harlem, who's also on the card. Safe to say the move hasn't gone down well with Eubank Jr.

The £100million Manchester City was embroiled in a heated row with Romeu, who had accused the England ace of play-acting after a tackle from Jan Bednarek.
